My Own Firm Ground
Welsh language/floorwork laboratory with community dancers to develop vocabulary, unearth metaphor and create a shared poetry of material, kinetic connection between our moving bodies and the ground. Taking this on to the land where we live and work.

Making a film of the process in Welsh with non Welsh speaking neuro diverse artist-ffilm-maker. Welsh becomes an active tool for understanding and intimacy.


As a non-Welsh speaker, I am really enjoying letting go of the language and not having to understand the words - the left, the right etc - and just tuning into visuals and movement and the occasional interesting Welsh sound shape that I recognise.
